Project's Partners
IASIS NGO was founded in 2005 and focuses on people. With over 18 years of experience in mental health, psychosocial rehabilitation and social integration, it manages a number of facilities in Athens, Thessaloniki and other areas of Greece.
IASIS NGO has:
- Day centres, sheltered apartments and boarding schools.
- A certified Lifelong Learning Centre for education and training.
- A network of 500+ partner organisations and participation in 300+ European projects.
Within the framework of PREVENT, IASIS has the role of coordinator, undertaking:
- The implementation of actions in Athens and Thessaloniki.
- Training businesses, HR and mental health professionals.
- The organisation of street events and awareness-raising activities.
The Alzheimer’s Association of Chalkida is a non-profit organisation that supports patients with Alzheimer’s, other forms of dementia and their families. At the same time, it is active in the training of health professionals, the psychosocial support of vulnerable groups and the organisation of information campaigns.
In PREVENT, the Association undertakes:
- Implementing actions in Chalkida.
- The creation of a Support Service at the “Agia Irini” Day Centre.
- The organisation of the Grand Final Conference.
- Disseminating the results at local and regional level.
