Educational Materials

Education is one of the most powerful tools in the fight against gender-based violence.

Through Το project PREVENT: Σπάζοντας τις αλυσίδες της έμφυλης βίας στην εργασία, we have developed a complete collection of educational resources designed to inform, guide, and empower individuals and organizations to take meaningful action.

All materials are available free of charge and can be downloaded in PDF format, ensuring open access for anyone who wishes to learn more or take practical steps toward prevention and response in the workplace.

Our educational package includes:

1. Guide to Recognising and Preventing Gender-Based Violence in the Workplace

This comprehensive guide provides definitions, examples, and real-world scenarios to help employees and employers identify the different forms of gender-based violence — from verbal harassment to coercive control and physical aggression. It offers practical steps on how to create a culture of trust, equality, and respect, as well as clear procedures for reporting and addressing incidents.

Developed specifically for professionals responsible for staff well-being and workplace culture, this toolkit provides step-by-step guidance on how to implement zero-tolerance policies, set up confidential reporting mechanisms, and handle complaints sensitively and effectively. It also includes model documents, communication templates, and case studies to help organizations translate policy into action.

This manual supports mental health professionals working with victims and witnesses of workplace violence. It outlines trauma-informed approaches, counselling techniques, and best practices for building trust, ensuring confidentiality, and facilitating recovery. The handbook also highlights the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration between psychologists, social workers, and employers.

A collection of presentations, leaflets, and visual materials produced during workshops, campaigns, and community events. These resources can be used by educators, organizations, and community groups to spread knowledge, encourage dialogue, and inspire change across workplaces and society.

All materials are designed to be clear, practical, and adaptable — whether you are an HR manager looking to strengthen your organization’s policies, a psychologist supporting a survivor, or a citizen seeking to understand and advocate for safer, more equal workplaces.

Together, we learn. Together, we act. Together, we break the chains.
